RoadCash is an effort from our side to help people who are due for a reimbursement. The Android app targets workers who are eligible for compensation on travel and medical appointments. They can submit pending trip logs for reimbursement, manually, as per HIPAA compliance.

The Challenge
To fire notification when a user approaches a doctor, track location, and log an appointment
To reimburse commute charges based on his medium of transportation: a taxi or the metro
The Solution
To make sure the functionality works and a user gets fair reimbursement, we made the app refresh the location and compare it with every doctor’s location with the user’s location.
A taxi fare is more than a metro ticket. To make sure the App reimburses the correct commute charges, we created two APIs one for car, another for metro and a master table to manage them.

A user can check the last few trips. Where he went to? What he took? A car or the Metro. And how much paid for it.
Profile
Edit your profile you created at the time of sign up. Know you doctor’s, and attorney’s and claim manager’s email
Get Reimbursed
Check the reimbursement you received, from which doctor, when you took the trip and the medium of transport.
Attorney Questionnaire
Let your attorney know when did you meet with the injury, your phone number and email address.
Reimbursements
Get the list of the last few reimbursements that you received and how much they are in total.
Pending
Get details of which reimbursement is pending, which doctor you went to and how you traveled back and forth.
